After creating a new folder through the 2.0 API, how do I programmatically obtain the token to be used with the Upload Widget (app.box.com/embed/upload.js)?

Hello

I am also interested to understand how to solve this.

i need to create upload widgets programmatically for multiple folders instead of logging to user interface every time.

thanks

Karuna

Hello,

Has anyone found a way to achieve this?

Regards,

Ivan

Hi all,

Apologies for the delay! It is not currently possible to create/access the upload widget URL via the Content API. Our Product team is aware of this request and will consider this for future iterations of the API.

Hello

I have been reviewing BOX API for the past 2 years looking for this specific API, being able to generate a Upload Widge programmatically.

Everytime someone comes and says, "Our product team will look into it in the future release".

This request has been coming through from 2014 onwards. If you search online, it is asked in 2014 itself.

Is there any visibility whether this feature will be available or not. Just because of this one feature, we are not able to integrate with Box. Creating upload widget or upload forms programmatically is very important for folks to seamlessly integrate with Box. Infact many of ours customers asked for BOX integaration and because of this one drawback, i had to ask our customers to use Sharefile which we integrate by default.

Please reach out to me in case you are interested to understand further

Thanks

Karuna

Take a look at our new Upload UI Element. It requires an access token to work.

Did anyone tried to implement it with OAuth and JWT using box windows sdk or any other sdk ?
