I can't find a limit anywhere. What is the maximum number of files per folder, that has been tested to work across all APIs and everything in the web and mobile apps?


We haven't published an official limit to the maxium number of files allowed per folder. 


 


If you file a ticket with the scale requirements for your use case, we can provide a recommendation on ways to optimize performance.


Is there an update to this? I'm trying to upload over 30,000 files to a folder on Box, and my FTP client is stopping with an error and giving me this message:

 

"Copying files to remote side failed.
Box: Too many items to display. Directory contains 25906 items; limit for directory listing is 20000 items."
