What is the most efficient method to stop users deleting folders?

Do you mean like folders they own? Or like shared group folders? The best option is collaborate a user in as a type that cannot delete the folder. In order to use the folder lock - you would need to be the folder owner or co-owner.

After asking this question as a support ticket a while ago it is via an API. The setup they said to use was rather complicated! In the end I installed Postman loaded the API’s into that and ran the command to lock a folder from deletion or being moved. This was the only way I could do it as people still needed edit access to the content and it was under some sub folders so I couldn’t change permissions due to the waterfall approach Box uses.
